Assess real-world capability with confidence
Neuroworx combines multiple choice, dynamic scenarios, and open response tasks to measure how candidates think, decide, and perform in real work situations.
Different formats for different dimensions
No single question type can fully predict performance. Neuroworx combines three formats, each designed to reveal a different layer of capability.
Multiple choice
Structured, timed questions designed to assess core thinking ability and domain knowledge. Candidates select the best answer from a set of options designed to test reasoning, not memorisation.
Time pressure reflects real-world decision speed. This provides a reliable baseline of cognitive ability and identifies candidates who process information quickly and accurately.
Dynamic scenarios
Interactive, scenario-based questions that simulate real workplace situations. Each scenario includes multiple plausible responses designed around genuine trade-offs: speed vs accuracy, commercial vs customer focus, risk vs innovation.
Unlike static questions, there is no single "correct" answer. Multiple options are good, but they differ in effectiveness. This reveals how candidates actually behave under pressure, not how they describe themselves.
Open response
Free-text and task-based responses that simulate real work outputs. Candidates write strategies, analyse scenarios, draft plans, or compose communications. This is where you see what someone can actually produce.
Responses are assessed against structured scoring criteria focused on quality of thinking, not just correctness. This moves assessment beyond recognition into genuine execution.
Each format captures a different layer
Combined, they provide a complete, evidence-based view of candidate capability.
Secure, standardised, and fair
Every candidate takes the same assessment under the same conditions. Neuroworx is built to maintain result integrity while keeping the experience simple and accessible.
Scenario-based questions and open response tasks are inherently resistant to answer lookup. Trade-off decisions cannot be easily searched online, and original thinking is required throughout.
Browser monitoring
Detects tab switching, window changes, and focus loss during the assessment.
Time controls
Strict timing per section prevents external searching and encourages instinctive responses.
Randomisation
Question order varies between candidates, reducing the risk of answer sharing.
No setup required
No downloads, no external tools, no account creation. One link, any device.
Simple, engaging, and relevant
Candidates receive a single branded link. No account creation, no downloads, no friction. Clear instructions set expectations before they begin.
The assessment mixes question types to keep candidates engaged. Realistic scenarios feel relevant to the actual role, giving candidates the opportunity to demonstrate genuine ability rather than test-taking skill.
This matters because candidate experience directly impacts completion rates and employer brand. An assessment that feels like real work attracts better responses than one that feels like an exam.
